Commodity Divisions

Arkansas Farm Bureau Commodity Divisions provide a system through which producer members may give special emphasis to commodity problems and programs, while contributing to the attainment of overall Farm Bureau goals and objectives. County Farm Bureaus appoint commodity action committees for each of their major commodities. The committee members are producers appointed by the county president, with approval from the board of directors. Committee members are involved in policy development and implementation, issue involvement, and commodity promotion. The chairman of each county commodity action committee serves as a member of the state commodity division for their commodity. The state commodity divisions provide guidance to the organization on programs, issues and activities related to the respective commodity.

Arkansas Farm Bureau has commodity divisions for 12 commodities. The commodities, their farm leader chairman and staff coordinators are as follows:
