Insurance is available through Southern Farm Bureau Life Ins. Co., Southern Farm Bureau Casualty Co., Farm Bureau Mutual Ins. Co. of Ark., Inc., and Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Arkansas. Crop insurance is administered and processed through American Farm Bureau Insurance Services, Inc. Crop Hail coverage, and other federal crop programs may also be available. Contact your county office or AFBIS, Inc. to be directed to a crop insurance agent near you.
Included in each Farm Bureau membership is accidental death insurance; in the amount of $1,000 for husband and wife and $500 for dependent children, provided by Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Co. of Arkansas, Inc. Written notice of death upon which a claim may be based must be given to the Company at its Home Office in Little Rock, Arkansas, within sixty days after the date of death. Upon receipt of such notice, the Company will furnish the proper forms for filing proof of claim. If such forms are not furnished before the expiration of fifteen days after the Company has received such notice, the heirs shall be deemed to have complied with the requirements of this policy. Written proof of claim must be furnished to the Company at its offices in Little Rock, Arkansas, within ninety days after the date of death.
As a condition precedent to recovery under this policy, the police accident report prepared by and signed by the investigating police officer must clearly state that the person insured was wearing a factory installed seatbelt or lap and shoulder restrain at the time of the accident.
